Destructoid's most wanted Xbox 360 games of 2012

Welcome to 2012, everybody! This year is full of promising hot new titles, and all week long, the Destructoid staff will be sharing with you our most wanted games for 2012. Conrad Zimmerman and I are starting things off with our personal top picks for the Xbox 360.

We're breaking everything down by platforms because there are just too many good games that need to be highlighted in the new year. At the same time, we're not limiting our lists to just exclusives; these days, they're fewer and farther between.

I wish you weren't right, but you are.

C'mon, Microsoft. You really HAD to blow half a billion dollars on Kinect advertisement? You couldn't have maybe just cut out 100 million, JUST 100 million to make a handful of AAA games?

And then you had to go and sic Lionhead, RARE, and all of your other developers on creating Kinect games. For shame, MS.

Watching CES it seems Kinect and on-demand television has taken over Xbox.

I kinda figured that would be the case. Only one person mentioned Alan Wake, and two people mentioned Halo 4, and neither of them were primary picks. Damn shame.
