Trine 2 is a sequel to 2009’s most surprising puzzle platformer. The 2009 Trine really set itself apart from other platforms by utilizing physics and created innovative puzzles to solve. The Trine basically consists of 3 characters, each with their own abilities and talents. Trine 2 is here to expand on what Trine originally introduced, and by far, it does greatly. The game is even bigger, better and visually more beautiful. This time around, the developers have also included online multiplayer which was a much needed feature missing from the original game. This review will primarily focus on the design and features of the game.
