Arc System Works Interested in "BlazBlue" Anime and Third Game

A recent interview with Japanese gaming magazine Gemaga revealed that BlazBlue designer/Guilty Gear producer and director Toshimichi Mori is interested in making BlazBlue 3, the follow-up to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.

No thanks. I'm tired of this blazblue garbage. Bring back Guilty Gear or make something else. Stop milking blazblue already. They're becoming worse than Capcom with all of the damn re-releases and re-re-releases of the same game. Don't care about some lame anime based off of uninteresting characters either.

They have been making other titles. Arcana Heart 3, Hard Corps: Uprising, the Nura Yokai fighter, and Persona 4: the Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena.

Naw nobody is worse than capcom. There is only basically 3 blazblue games on consoles. The 1st two are way different i am on the edge about the latest one. I do want another guilty gear though. I think the anime would be cool. I'm just waiting on their Person 4 fighting game to come out.

i agree and disagree, i agree that a Guilty Gear game would be the f'ing shit not like overture either or isuka, more along the lines of XX Reload but i disagree that blazblue is garbage game is technical speedy and fun as fuck not to mention competetive as well. But again guilty gear is/was the shit!

ellie u moron, if ur even a guilty gear fan what so ever then you would know Arc Juuuuuuuuust got the rights back for guilty gear since Sammy fused with Sega years ago, obviously they couldn't make more GG games

Out of curiosity, have you played the newer BlazBlue games? I'm a huge GG fan and I hated BlazBlue at launch. It was sluggish, it had a tiny moveset, it had only a small number of characters. I hated it. I wanted Guilty Gear. But the newer BlazBlue versions are much better. They feel a lot more like GG. Sure, they're not quite there YET, but it's getting there.

Yes for an anime... My cousin dislikes fighting games, but was kind of interested in BlazBlue so I let let him borrow Calamity Trigger. It took him a while but after a discussion on how awesome the story was, he beat CC's Story mode and looked up the rest of the story. I'm glad he likes the story, but I wish I could have a relative to fight with online lol

And since I've fallen in love with the gameplay of BlazBlue, I'd like to try my hand at some Guilty Gear now. Back when they were coming out, I wasn't big on fighters, but I think that might change now.
