Twisted Metal to Include Twisted Metal Black

is it a ps2 download or will it be an HD remake? only thing i need to know. if its the ps2 download, then i may pass on day 1 since i still have a ps2 and TM:B.

edit* i just checked the playstation blog and the way jaffe talked, its the original ps2 TM:B game download. the june 2001 version before TM:BO was released. so no trophies or online.

No online, it's the original game that shipped in 2001, so no remastering. No trophies. Just like it was on PS2 (minus the online).

Twisted Metal 2 was my first PS1 game. It's what made me get a PS. I had a choice between that, an N64 with Mario Kart or an upgraded Voodoo graphics card for PC. Glad I went with the Playstation.

Twisted Metal Black was my first PS2 game and at the time I didn't even own a PS2!

Can't wait to play this on PS3.

..but we all know how this is gonna go. developer promises free game/content on PS3 copies of bigger game. Said free game somehow is missing from the bigger game's disc. Everyone is in a frenzy (see Saint's Row: the Third and Battlefield 3).

Saints Row 3 actually *does* come with a free download of Saints Row 2 for PS3. I bought it 2 weeks ago. You get SR2 when you redeem the SR3 online pass.

AC Revelations still comes with a free AC1 as well.

EA's followed through in the past, including extra content with Dante's Inferno, MassEffect2, NFS The Run, Medal of Honor, DeadSpace2 as promised. The BF1943 flipflop with BF3 is fortunately more the exception than the rule. Twisted Metal Black sounds like a safe bet.
