Wii U launch window now between June and end of 2012

The Wii U’s launch window is now a bit shorter with the latest word from Nintendo. We've known this for awhile. lol

There have been a lot of Wii U articles recently, wonder why

I want to know the specs, I imagine most other people do as well.

I dont see them releasing it in the summer. It will be October or November for the holidays

Tenkay234920d ago

September is my bet. But I would love for them to release in the summer because that is the weakest part of the year in gaming. Very few major releases fall in the summer and Nintendo could take advantage of that.

yeah i reckon September too, maybe fall into start of October. just in time for the Christmas rush.

if its anything like the 3ds launch its not worth getting for a year, it better launch with a new zelda/mario or metroid game, because if its just gonna say (Hey wii only owners, you can play games that ps360 owners have been playing now!)

then they arent getting my money, especially with that horrible controller

BuffMordecai4919d ago

Yeah, that controller is pretty gnarly; also having one controller per console sounds like the blunder of the century.

if rumours are corrent the wiiU is gonna have a strong launch lineup unlike the 3ds, i will be getting it day one. i realy like the look of the control cant wait, and we know it can support more than one control per console if need be, who uses two controllers to play anyhows i know i wont be needing a second straight out of the box the one will do me

XBLA Classic 'A World of Keflings' Is Coming to Steam, and There's a Demo

"Back in the innocent days of 2010, A World of Keflings was a fairly popular successor to A Kingdom for Keflings. I even wrote about it a few times in 2012! But the world of humans moved on, and NinjaBee's city-building/adventure game was last seen on the ill-fated Wii U in 2014. Fast-forward to the dark year of 2025, and not only is A World of Keflings coming to Steam, but there's already a playable demo! Perhaps the cheerful, no pressure gameplay that the Keflings bring is just what we need nowadays," says Co-Optimus.
