Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

Deuse ex human revolution is way underrated. Brilliant game.
For me Skyrim is the best RPG of the year as I have spent over 200 hundred hours on it already and there is still so much I haven't done.
I'm not going to begrudge Deus Ex an award for best RPG though as it was a hell of a game.
Deus Ex and Skyrim are top-dogs, fun games they are :D
