CheatCC - More than a year after its release, Final Fantasy XIV is worth paying for. Or at least, Square Enix thinks it is; as of January 6, the company will charge a $10 monthly fee to play. Is the new and improved FFXIV worth it? I fired up my old account one last time to find out.
Square Enix released new screenshots of the upcoming patch 7.25 for its popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, including the Occult Crescent.
A Final Fantasy XIV fan has embraced the way of the Warrior by creating an axe-shaped controller for IRL Fell Cleaves.
The Final Fantasy XIV Crystalline Conflict Community Cup North America 2024 just ended yesterday and Dubstep Nation won.
As a FF fan and veteran of FFXI(Fenrir server) I say make the PS3 version free-to-play or GTFO!
I'm waiting for the 2.0 update before giving it a go again. I tried it out briefly during the summer and still found the game frustrating to deal with.
However, no way will I pay a monthly fee of $10 for it. Let alone the price hike they will do when 2.0 comes out.
Is Square crazy?
I still don't know why they haven't made a Blitzball Online expansion for this game. It's not enough to warrant a monthly fee but I'm sure it will draw more people in....
I think it will go the way of free to play with microtransactions cause that is a model that sony is looking at and already put in place with free realms and dcuo
After reading to this point:
"If you want to switch classes, all you have to do is buy a new item (a saw for a carpenter, for example) and equip it to your main hand. Everything you do builds both a class level and your overall level."
I stopped reading.... as they fixed this months ago.... he obviously didnt play the game recently, and just looked up some of the changes online.
