Sexy Times in Skyrim

"Between my lengthy dungeon trots and my regular vandalism of Braidwood Inn, I like to try my luck at finding love. You know, searching for that one perfect person to settle down with…and possibly murder in a fit of gamer rage. But for some reason, whenever I try to find a wife, I always seem to mess it up".

There is so much wrong in that title.

Ryudo4515d ago

Better go do some Sky-rimming I guess....

lifesanrpg4515d ago

Not nearly as funny as the title makes it out to be.

British humo(u)r = awkward and dumb

Stewie2k84515d ago

Just like how any american idiot laughs at fart jokes? gotta love the endless amounts of those. HILARIOUS!

chadwarden4515d ago

Unless the humor is coming from the show Topgear. Then it's funny.

ryhanon4515d ago

Ok, I'll start with this: "I fart in your general direction"

If you'd like, I could go on and list at *LEAST* 10 more British fart jokes that are supposedly "hilarious". It's not a uniquely American thing and it's almost never funny. British people just think they're funnier because of their pretentious sounding farts.

Johandevries4515d ago

British or not, I generally do not find fart jokes wickedly funny

THESONYPS34515d ago

Lol Im not American but they are 100 times funnier than the English

Kurt Russell4515d ago

It's only awkward and dumb to those not sharp enough to catch the wit. It doesn't need canned laughter and a pause for the audience to catch up... Sorry you're too slow to keep up Ryhanon.

Hayabusa 1174515d ago (Edited 4515d ago )

I love American humour, but if you think British humour is "awkward and dumb" then you clearly lack wit...and judging by your choice of words, sounds like you were actually offended by the sexual innuendo, which is actually quite pathetic. As Kurt Russel pointed out, at least British comedy shows don't require canned laughter.

And I don't know why anyone would bring up fart jokes. Seriously? Do Americans still use them? You know in Britain fart jokes were all the rage back in the middle ages right? Are Americans still stuck on them?

AJKanismajoris4514d ago

How have you attributed British humour to this?,just because he's british dosn't mean that he shares the same humour as the rest of us!,

You sir are an Idiot

Exactly what I'm thinking, I'm pretty sure that mentioning Skyrim when I go out tonight won't help me, though I remain ever hopeful.

rdgneoz34515d ago

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast20d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22920d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko20d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave20d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan20d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave20d ago (Edited 20d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
