Hello, for my first review(please be gentle) I decided I would do quite an old game, this is partly due to my current lack of computer that can handle modern games which has caused me to adventure back into retro land. It's incredibly interesting to replay games you played as a young un', often you find them much less challenging, as the process of growing up and the experience gained from playing lots of games makes thing much easier for you and they don't live up to their former glory. That said the first Commandos....
In this retrospective, we'll cover the revival of the Real-Time Tactics genre and the story of the developers who did it, Mimimi Games.
Dealspwn: "Commandos is a fantastic series. If you're a fan of real-time tactics titles and fancy some hard-as-nails strategic action behind enemy lines, then make sure you snap this up. If you'd rather not grab the whole collection, then you can pick up the individual titles for 75p each."
Hardcore Gamer: For less than the cost of a footlong sub at Subway, you can get Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, Commandos 2: Men of Courage, Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty, Commandos: Behind the Enemy Lines, American Conquest: Fight Back, Cossacks: Art of War, Cossacks: Back to War, and Cossacks II: Battle For Europe.
that was an awesome game, i might have a look for this at the weekend
I beat this game using cheats, but I was very young. I played it again a few years ago and it's still fun, and with no cheats better!
This and Gangsters were my most played games in the late 90s
Absolutely loved this game. Such a tough game to beat too. Spent hours analyzing the enemies patrol paths.
