These days it seems video games are taking the route of boyhood dreams of zombies, monsters and soldiers. The popular ninja seems lost in our minds to the point where non-subtle shinobi like the characters from Naruto are all that is left. With a devoted developer name like Team Ninja in existence, we occasionally get our classic ninja fix with Ninja Gaiden and it’s hack n’ slash master, Ryu Hayabusa.
Koei Tecmo announced its financial results and mentioned that it has several large games in development within multiple genres.

I just played the demo for Rise of the Ronin and while it couldn't run at a steady 60fps on performance mode with nioh level graphics i still liked it enough to do everything in the demo. If it was half off i would have bought it but it was still 70 on PSN.
Open world Rygar and have Satoshi Kanematsu back to produce it. His crew was/is fire.
I tried asking Satoshi about Rygar, but it's not up to him sadly. Valhalla and Solei are too small and unknown for Tecmo to let them work again on Rygar.
KT is really rising on my list of favorite devs (or at the very least, well respected).
I greatly appreciate their commitment to single player action games.

Interesting email from Koei Tecmo which states that the company based in Yokohama, Japan seeks civil litigation for IP infringement with regards to assets used by YOUZU (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD from the game series “Nobunaga’s Ambition” and “Taiko Risshiden”. According to the email it seems that YOUZU PTE.LTD used music and other assets from those series in its own marketing campaigns online for their game app the “Defendant App”.
