Half-Life 3 Reveal Coming in 60 Days

I cant help wonder if it still will have the impact it once had. Meaning games like the last of us is taking over this site and the time away from HL has opened up the door for other great games to fill the void.

Valve knows what they are doing and I wait patiently for the official word. Just dont let me down valve like DNF did. HL3 hasnt been in development as long as DNF but it still feels like forever (no pun intended).

IMO the half life story is the best immursive story in gaming hands down.

They quit the episodic games because it didn't turn out like they wanted it to. They wanted to release episodes quickly.

They did the same with the Portal 2 Arg, said there was nothing to see but the Rattmann was still tweeting away....even then people found out the Twitter account was "fake" but I guess it's not since everything he said about the Portal 2 arg was true and he helped get it started

Unfortunately, that could be taken to mean "no sooner than 60 days", rather than "within 60 days".

Good point, but why else would they even give a 60 days figure? I feel like saying "Max: Unknown" might be an in-joke to how delayed the game has become, or else just a technical term to make the tweet fit the ARG's theme.

I agree that making us wait 90 days, etc., after the tweet would be a bit nonsensical. Hopefully you're right and Valve doesn't decide to toy with us :)

Well if you take the 60 and you times it by 2.999999 (as you know, we cant have the 3 in the equasion) and then you times that by the amount of OFFICAL Half life games Valve has released as of now (that is 7) and then minus the amount of employees since 2011 (270)...

60x2.999x7-270 = 989.58 days meaning we'll finally see Half Life 3... Tuesday 26 August 2014
