The second entry in Rocksteady Games’ Batman franchise is both a critical and commercial blockbuster. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment’s Batman: Arkham Asylum owes some of its success to actor Mark Hamill. The man known by many as Luke Skywalker has played The Joker in both games and several animated TV series. Hamill talks about gaming and what's next in the franchise with Batman: Arkham World in this exclusive interview from the red carpet at the Spike “VGAs” 2011 show.
Warner Bros. announced it's pivoting to live-service games, which could be a disastrous move for its devs
I don’t think there ever was a time for GaaS. Its entire resistance is revolved around making a game that generates recurring revenue constantly throughout its lifetime. It’s straight up a corporate scumbag design.
I watched the video seeing if anything changed since the initial Suicide gameplay vid before the delay and it looks the same. So weird watching all the characters just start a gun to their back and bounce super high shooting with no kick-back animation in an empty dead world. The voice acting is cringe and there doesn’t have any sense of atmosphere or immersion like the Arkham games.
And they expect you to pay $70 to $100 for this and then pay more for Battle Passes and items to make grinding less a chore. Yea, no thank you. I hope you learn a hard lesson with this one.
Today, during Warning Bros' conference call, chief executive officer David Zaslav talked about Mortal Kombat 1, Hogwarts Legacy, and the company's gaming business.

New mk sold less then the last in the same time frame the NEW MK is legit a live service game with its horrible monopoly board. I just wanted a normal title...
From VGC: "Warner Bros. Discovery today announced the launch of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access x Rocksteady Studios Games Academy in the UK.
The initiative, which will open for applications on August 30, will be offered to individuals aged 18 or older in the UK, with an emphasis on applicants that may not have access to traditional pathways into the industry, such as university courses, or internships.
The course will be free and will offer financial assistance such as bursaries for travel or childcare. The deadline to apply is September 23, and candidates will be notified in mid-October."
Misleading.... he never talked about Arkham City's sequel... only that Arkham City was his last one
He never talked about "Arkham World". Misleading title for a site just looking for hits.
Nice hit grabbing headline. No mention of Arkham World at all.
Wow, its that guy from The Simpsons.
Just report it and move along...
