Contrary to most games, water is your friend in Anno 2070. Everyone starts on islands and the name of the game is all about the management and resources on these islands. Most islands will only have a few mining points, and you’ll need several including multiple of a few critical resources like Coal and Iron to fuel a magnificent empire.

Great game especially the multiplayer continuous mode. Feels like Sins of a Solar Empire but trading is a pain but then again I haven't finished the campaign. Get this game if you love city building with a little bit of military. They need to patch the insta-win once you reach 3hrs and 54min in game time. I'm pretty sure it's a glitch.

This is the main argument, and a good one, as to why a digital future is worrysome. We are all being tailored to playing games for a certain period of time and then moving on (this game is over 6 years old now). Servers are being shut down all the time for older titles but why can't they allow them to be playable offline?
