OnLive has just launched, alongside the tablet support and touch controls, the Universal Controller. The controller will be able to work on any OnLive enabled device including tablets, smartphones, PCs, Macs, TVs, and Blu-ray players.
That is, without question, the best controller design ever.
Yeah it looks superb. I can't decide whether to order the controller to use with my Mac or buy the whole home console unit for £27 more. Only thing is I don't think I could then use the same controller with my Mac (I read the two controllers are different). Ah, this is such a good service too!
The old controller will not work with anything but the MicroConsole. This new controller works with the MicroConsole, PC, Mac, and most tablets/smartphones that have either a USB port or Bluetooth capabilities. Hope that clears some things up for ya.
Thanks, I also read this today so it seems either the whole console or the pad to use with my Mac etc. Think the pad is the better choice as I can then game on all my devices wherever :)
