JRPG fans are rejoicing as they hear the wonderful news that Xenoblade will finally grace their Wii’s in North America. Or are they? It was found earlier yesterday that Gamestop had advertised it with a release date on their web site. Immediately in the world of social media people began to scream for the fans of JRPGs to buy this game. After causing such a stink about Nintendo not intending to release it, they need to really support this title. I agree with this, except I believe Nintendo is still in the wrong.
TNS: Based on its most recent ESG data, Nintendo boasts a remarkably low staff turnover rate of just 1.9%, with virtually no reported layoffs.
Well it doesn’t surprise me. As much money as they make and how they value their employees. It’s a great company in that regard.
Well, when your games remain full price many years after release.
And you make profit off of outdated hardware.
I would be shocked if they couldn't afford to retain their staff.
The Nintendo Switch 2 has set a new record by selling over 3 million units within 24 hours, tripling the PlayStation 4’s previous launch day sales.
Its crazy that it's both the highest selling console on day 1 and people can walk into a store and buy it with no pre order
Unlike the Switch 2 , the Playstation 4 was not sold on the same day in most regions.
Company skipped last year's event.
Not surprising at all.
I mean, they´ll be releasing a new console in a few weeks.
Nintendo of Europe probably already has their money. Why should they pay twice?
Though, it's all about personal choice and perceived value.
And they'll even do better once they officially announce the Last Story for NA as well :3
-waits patiently-
Eh... Too late nintendo, I've already got skyrim.
HEY! I CAN TURN ON MY WII AGAIN!!!
Most people in the US who wanted to play the game probably already pirated it or imported the game, so sales will be low.
I'm not going to buy it. April release...I rather spend my money on PS Vita games or save for a Wii U.
