"Comic Book Hero: The Greatest Cape is a brilliant throwback to a bygone era of superhero roleplaying games. It brings me back to 6th grade when my best friend Brent and I would play Marvel Super Heroes the Roleplaying/Miniatures game. I never forgot the feeling of power when I fired an energy blast as Captain Marvel (the Monica Rambeau version- I must have made Brent annoyed when he forced me to pick her instead of a cool superhero) at a fleeing villain. Granted, because my dice rolls sucked then like they do now, I missed and ripped a hole through a nearby building, allowing my nemesis to escape to scheme another day. I could picture all of the action clearly in my mind as if it were ripped from the pages of a comic, but it also gave the sense that truly anything could happen. CBH gives me those same feelings."
