Mustache cash stash! XD

On topic. This game is looking to be a good non canon twist to the series.

Sega confirmed it will release stateside in march 2012 so your in luck. Its been out in japan for a little while under the name "yakuza of the end." Im really looking forward to this game as I am a huge yakuza fan myself. Seems like a pretty entertaining spin off.

Already finished it... but I wanna know what they actually say...
The gameplay is so old school...
It's like Dino Crisis 2 except you can also aim properly to do headshots and stuff... but can't walk when precision aiming...

@PirosThe4th

Ah yes, the good old days when walking and aiming were two completely separate game mechanics.

I did watch a few preview videos and saw that the aiming locked you into position, only allowing you to rotate. Very much an old school, eastern design mechanic. Im sure not many people will like that. Personally, I dont mind. I played resident evil and dino crisis for many years of my childhood, so at this point its second nature for me.

I did see quite a lot of complaints about that though. It would be nice to walk and aim at the same time, but I've grown accustomed to the mechanic itself.

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken21d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake22d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol

Sega had such a turbulent existence from the mid-90s to when they dropped out of console manufacturing entirely in 2001, it’s understandable if you’ve never heard of the Genesis Nomad.
