Uncharted 3 was one of the most anticipated games of the year, with expectations for it being sky-high. After playing through it and musing upon it, VelocityGamer's Damien L. offers an opinion driven analysis of the game
Completely agreed... except on the narrative. I had absolutely zero problems with the story, and thought they explained everything extremely well. Yes, it was more subtle, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Also, while the spectacle was intense to say the least, I didn't mind the more linear gameplay as it really added to the direction and emotion behind some of these scenes. U2, had many scenes like this as well. Some weren't even nearly as long (the Jeep part in Nepal). With that said, I would like some more freedom to enjoy these spectacles at my leisure. Yes, more like Among Thieves. But that's really my only quibble with what is an otherwise amazing experience. Regardless, the Uncharted series has been the highlight of this generation, and I'll be sad to see it go. But I'm excited to see what Naughty Dog has in store for us next.
Now that is a well written article for UC3 finally. the game is just more fast paced than the other 2. it has a very noticeably different fell than the previous games. i understood exactly what was happening in the game unlike most people on this site seem to ignore.
