Ninja Gaiden 3 and Sumioni Dates, Perfect Score for Elder Scrolls, and More From Famitsu

Andriasang: Those Famitsu leaks from earlier in the day appear to be legit, so count on seeing an Unreal Engine powered Square Enix title on consoles, Dynasty Warriors Multi Raid 2 HD as the next PS3 Remaster, and a package release for Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2.

For those of you who do not know. Skyrim is the first western game to get a perfect score from them.

I facepalm at this. Not because the game might not deserve it -that I don't know- but because this generation, Japanese developers and gamers have been obsessed about Western games.

The worst thing to happen to gaming is just that. Japanese games should be japanese, because it's what make them great, and every time a western game gets a perfect score, developers will be misled to think that gamers want this kind of game FROM THEM. Also, we should thank Wada for this westernization of Japanese games. He was the one who started it all with Final Fantasy XIII and when he slept with MS's wallet.

Western games > Jap games.

"Japanese developers and gamers have been obsessed about Western games."

Surely if the gamers are obsessed then the devs are doing what the gamers want.
I know I'll be up at midnight for the next Elder Scrolls game and i'd rather give up on gaming than play a Final Fantasy game again.

that perfect score from a pro japanese magazine is great for western gaming

That’s just laughable to me. I think they’ve squeezed all they can out of an 12 year old game

mastershredder12d ago

"Easily" because they see mods, says the gamer. To heck with licensing, terms agreements conditions, etc. all you need to do is belive in mods. Yeah, so real superficial BS yo.

CrimsonWing6912d ago

Do people not want to play a new game? Like, I’d rather see 6 than just a prettier version of a game we’ve been playing since the 360/PS3 gen…

Yes please. Did pretty much everything there was to do in this game. Took a very long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Skyrim is one of my all-time favorites, but I would prefer a new experience.

anast12d ago

They might as well. So far, it looks like ES6 will be mostly developed by AI.

I don't want a next-gen version of a game I've already played to death. Skyrim was a great game, but I'm over it.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast71d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22971d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko71d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way
