NCSoft’s Guild Wars 2 is an upcoming 3D fantasy MMORPG that should see release around late 2011 or early 2012, I’m going to list some very important details about GW2 to prove that the game means buisness, in this MMO world still dominated by Azerothians.
Game Rant gets a first look at the upcoming official Guild Wars 2 cookbook, along with a preview of the exclusive Butterknife spear skin.
ArenaNet writes: "Let's finish up the year with festive cheer and frivolity!"
The new Guild Wars 2 expansion, Janthir Wilds, marks the fifth chapter of the classic MMORPG's ongoing story, and it finally adds housing.
Guild Wars and its expansions were fun but got repetitive fast. The lvl cap was way too low and the most sought after items were dyes for your armor. That being said the world was absolutely beautiful and the combat system was decent. It had a card game feel though as you could only use 8 out of your library of spells at a time and you could find yourself screwed if you didn't bring the right spells along.
Yeah I loved Guild Wars, for a while, but it really concentrated on PvP (especially in the original title) which is something I'm not a fan of. On saying that Guild Wars 2 is shaping up to being a decent game with a solid campaign to run through, I'll probably buy it when it's released.
