BAFTA-nominated indie studio Size Five has taken it up a notch by winning a BAFTA for controversial Sex Ed Shoot-‘em-Up ‘Privates’.
Brad from The Vita Lounge spoke to Dan Marshall from Size Five Games about his steampunk cyber crime heist caper The Swindle. Find our what he has to say about the game, himself and the Vita!
The Swindle is a fun romp through Victorian London, and the feeling of getting away with the heists is one that never gets old, but the game is brought down by some questionable design choices and some technical issues. If it’s a decent roguelike you seek, you won’t regret taking a look, but if you’re craving for the next Spelunky, take your thievery skills elsewhere.
I have seen quite a few videos of this game and I really like the look of it. I have added to my backlog list to make sure I dont forget it, quite excited to play this actually, just need to finish Galak-Z first (which is incredible btw).

"My time with The Swindle has been extremely enjoyable – it is both addictive and frustrating at the same time. At times The Swindle had me feeling like the greatest thief that London has every seen, while at other times I felt like a bungling burglar fresh out of Home Alone. With the added elements of tense theme tunes, incredible backdrops and the fact that no playthrough or level will ever be the same The Swindle is extremely refreshing. My only regret is that I may never be able to complete that dastardly last heist!"
