As of November 18, 2011, Sony Computer Entertainment has introduced a new constraint on the use of more active Playstation 3 with your PSN account.
The limit was lowered from the previous fact "5" to present "2", implying not previously purchased content from 18 November. This means that you can not activate more console with the same account and then to use material regularly purchased on multiple consoles at home.

But what happens if for any reason you can not do this? For example, if the console is sold second-hand or unfortunately breaks?
The longstanding problem of YLOD forces many times users not to resort to assistance when you have exceeded the warranty period, as the recovery console has a dearly cost about 150 euros, for which the user opts for ' purchase of a new console.

Excellent advice for European PS3 / PSP owners.

I had maxed out my activations, but was unable to deactivate some of them because of YLOD - so this has really helped.

Would be nicer if we could do it on a console by console basis rather than all or nothing.

That part pissed me off, I have to deactivate all of them or not at all, especially when it says it can take up to 48 hours to activate your console again :/
