With DC Universe Online having become free-to-play from November 1st, the MMO has gone from success to success, pushing Sony Online Entertainment’s servers to the limit. The latest figures released by SOE’s President John Smedley show that demand for the massively multiplayer game hasn’t waned nearly a month on. - PSLS

MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. Not been that bad, longest wait has been 10 minutes to get on a server.
Why do I feel like SWTOR will suffer the same fate as DCUO. A lot of people will play it at first, maybe use the free trial and not sign up for a subscribtion.
Not happy with this game at the moment tried to play a game today and was placed in a queue instead of being thrown into the server straight away like it was doing before.
My queue started from 800 I turned it off!
Playing this all weekend, and must say it's pretty fun. I didn't get it at launch because of the. Subscription, but now I will pay for some of the stuff in the game. People create some amazing characters, and playing in groups are alot easier, than trying to be superman!
