With the release of so many big games this year, a lot of lesser (equally great) games have been overlooked. Does anyone even remember that SOCOM 4 came out this year? Probably not because it was overshadowed by L.A. Noire. This list is here to higlight those games that were missed and which games caused them to be overshadowed.
Bandai Namco and Project Aces released another video in which DJ Sho Okada plays the music of several Ace Combat Games.
The 2010s occupy a difficult time slot in the world of gaming. The games aren't new enough to be "cool" but they aren't old enough to be "retro." So basically, they're cheap. Ghetto Gamer contributor Hyp3rblue digs deep--but not too deep--into gaming's past to see what we may have just missed.
Asura's Wrath was underrated and the dlc was one of the few times i actually felt like a dlc was worth the money.
Everytime I see a picture of Asura's Wrath I get a moment of happiness for knowing that niche game and then the realization of why it failed with the DLC that made me hate Capcom to the point of saying I wouldn't buy a game of theirs again!
(bought DMC5 on release)
well I agree this list is terrible. Had to click just to see how bad it was. If someone wanted to know wt the best games were this decade and stumbled upon this list they would think "wt happened to gaming in the 2010's" lol
Talha Amjad writes: "Video games are known to be out of this world and that is what we love about them. At times things can get a bit too strange and that is why here we are going to look into 5 of the weirdest weapons in video games."
El Shaddai was definitely overshadowed... it was such a great game indeed.
For me, 2011 was filled with games that turned out to be my favorites, despite not being very well-received. Such as Homefront, Brink, Dead Island, and LOTR:WitN
i need to check out shadows of the damned.
Cave Story 3D FTW
Radiant Historia
Odd that they would suggest that this game was overshadowed, especially considering there was a second run of the game due to the high demand for it.
Red Faction Armageddon
Red Faction has gone too far from the formula of the original game. It isn't any wonder the title is now dead, or at least in limbo, since what the fans of the original liked hasn't been seen again in the series.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
Although Warhammer may have pioneered the whole "Space Marine" genre, since a lot of people aren't familiar with it ironically the game ended up looking like a generic "Space Marine" game. Not to mention the odd huge armor little head combination.
Skylander’s: Spyro’s Adventure
I didn't even realize this was a Spyro game until I took a closer look at the package. Activision may be trying to get on board the collect 'em all money train, but they'll never do as well as Pokemon.
