Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. - an independent worldwide publisher of entertainment software - has won the legal proceedings in copyrights to the game Ancient Wars: Sparta. So has decided the District Court of Amsterdam in the case of Playlogic Entertainment against WorldForge / Visionvale Ltd. from Cyprus and Burut Co. from Russia.
The provisional judge of the District Court of Amsterdam concludes that all the copyrights to the game Ancient Wars: Sparta always belonged to Playlogic pursuant to the agreement with WorldForge / Visionvale and Burut. The judge ruled in Playlogic's favour on all counts.
IGN posted thoughts of the newly released game Ancient Wars: Sparta, which takes place during the era that the movie "300" is set. The game presents three campaigns; following the Spartans as they unite and then fight the Persians, Egyptians as they struggle to gain a life out from under the crushing boot of King Xerxes, and finally the Persians and Xerxes rise to power and ambition. The review starts off with the sub-title of "This is not madness, this is boredom." and never really recovers from there but click the link for the full rundown.
