First announced several years ago, Total Recall Online seems like a good idea, with settings based off the original 1990 movie. Developed by a pretty lousy China developer, the game never made it in time for the 2012 reboot movie’s premier.
Triverse writes, "Die Hard, a rather questionable in quality movie licensed/tie-in game, hit Google Play and iTunes recently and well, it is not being received that well by critics. Basically the game is being rounded for various things such as in app purchases and lack of any real originality but personally, I don’t think the game was that bad- though definitely plenty of room for improvement (it does beat out the original Total Recall game on NES by A LONG SHOT though). Here are some other movie tie in games that gamers may be more receptiveto and able to glean more enjoyment from rather than Bruce Willis’ latest movie going experience in game form."

For those that might have missed out, you’re put into the shoes of Douglas Quaid, a man who comes to realize his life as he remembers it is a lie, and fights to discover the truth. So where there’s a movie, there’s bound to be a few game tie-ins, especially on iOS. While the movie was cool, can the app follow through and deliver?
