MMA Supremacy is a more immediate fighting game than THQ’s meticulously detailed UFC Undisputed series. It doesn’t concern it’s self with ground based grapples and position so much as it does with timing. The basic principles of the videogame are therefore much simpler to grasp, but applying them against more difficult competition can be unfairly challenging, particularly in the single-player modes.

If you’re a PS Vita owner with a thirst for hand-to-hand combat, Supremacy MMA Unrestricted is a very capable portable mixed martial arts title. It’s a bit flat and at times annoying in places, but if you mute the music and ignore the fact that you can’t create your own fighter, you may very well melt away a few hours.
