Killzone: Know Your Enemy

KillzoneUnit has decided to prep some of the new recruits for Killzone 2. The Helghast Empire is a strong one. The ISA have been battling it out with their war crazed cousins from across the galaxy, and have no doubt studied their strengths and weaknesses. In the first part of this feature, we'll cover the foundation of the Helghan war machine. From Visari to Cobar, this is the ultimate Helghast Study.

Looks like 2008 isn't going to be Sony's only great year. With FF13 and the new Syphon Filter hitting in that year, we can expect a lot of great games.

Unveiling of Resistance 2 early next year, game expected late 08.

i havent heard anything about gameplay since it was announced. they need to focus on gameplay more.

and if this game flops, 360 FANBOYS dont say i hyped it up.
all im hyping up is lbp and mgs4 but killzone2,GIVE ME A BREAK. this game is complete trash. sorry but thats just my opinion.

now i didnt read the article but since this is about killzone 2, im just gonna say it.

i sure hope you prove me wrong. maybe if they add co-op i'll turn my head to it. i do understand sony is gonna make sure this is better then the first one but i havent seen anything gameplay wise that looks that much better.

the reason why ppl talk so much about the graphics is because they thought GG couldn't seriously make the game look as good as the E3'05 trailer and they came pretty damn close with there showing this year..

this game won't flop Soy won't allow it to be released and it isn't great..too much riding on this game..!!

Killzone 1 still out sold every single xbox exclusive (side from halo1&2) and if a game that was considered by the xbox fanbase as "teh worst FPS EVA!!!" outsold all exclusive titles on the xbox except for halo1&2, then wow, I can't imagine the asswhooping Killzone II is going to lay down.

I really enjoyed the first killzone. This one wont be much different. I think the one thing this game will bring is total FPS imersion. This game is designed to make you feel like you are there, in gritty battle, where you can be killed at any moment. This game will be great.

Hey guys I know this is off topic and I'm sorry I am not trying to spam or anything but I thought I should share this with you all right now. I know many of you read about the ORANGE BOX for the PS3 and know you guys may think it will be a bad port because of EA, now because of those preview many might just skip the game all together for the PS3 but I want you all to read this preview from ign before you remove this game for the PS3 off your wish list.

Thats sounds pretty good. No Halflife game has a perfect frame rate so an occassional hitch is no big deal. Hasn't stopped me from enjoying Assassins Creed. If it plays as well as IGN say I'd recommend everyone to get this as they're great games.

Anyways, we all know the anti viral marketing campaign from MS will go frikgen insane into some crazy emergence overload!!!!! You'll see a tonne of gaming sites like gamespot, 1UP, gamestrailers, EGM, IGN etc handing out 7.5s and 8s even before they get their review copies and you'll likely get one or two sites giving it a 5.5 too. lol

The 360 Troll team will go equally INSANE on every single PS3 forum on this planet and it'll be hell for a good 2 months before Killzone's launch. lol wow it's going to be interestin to say the least, can't wait XD

I'm sorry but if R:fom is the top selling current gen FPS in Japan to date then holy cow man!!! Killsone may very well slaughter R:fom man sales figures in just one week.

Men oh men, MS is definitly going to throw every single dirty trick they can to stop Killzone II dead in it's tracks. If KZ2 succeeds in Japan of all places then ... wow!

I doubt Killzone will sell that much in a day come on...but im sure Hype alone will sell this game..nd of-course..expect GS..1UP..EGM..to find every fault with the game like "graphics too good for a console game..the game is too atmospheric"...

then expect Gametrailers to do a graphic video comparison to between KZ2 and Halo 3..to see which one looks better..! and when K2 is announced the winner expect the 360 kiddies to hack there site..!!

Agreed...but are there 5 million of us yet? Lol. Kidding. Killzone 2 is definitely primed to kick some major arse when it drops, though. Just not 5 mil. in a day.
Killzone 1 wasn't GREAT, but it held my attention until the end at least. Liberation was one of the first great PSP games. I think Guerilla will have really hit their stride by the time Killzone 2 comes out. And you just know they've got LOTS of help from Sony on this one.

the first installment needed more icons from the helghast camp, liberation fixed that :and everything else with killzone really: so hopefully with KZ2 there will be even more Helghast heroes/baddies :D
