Like most great works of science fiction, To the Moon infuses a preposterous idea with an original story and compelling characters. Not many games have devoted so much to telling a story while only having a few trappings of typical gameplay. Correction: not many games could focus so heavily on the story. To the Moon is something special; a narrative-driven journey with some of the most serious writing to grace the medium.
