The narrator doesn't have to be the main character.

Maybe they used a conversation from a cutscene.
For example: Hispanic man (who people think is the main character) meets Tommy V. They are talking and Tommy V explains to him why he got back into doing crime.

That Hispanic man is seen coming out of the exterminator van with Tommy V at 0:47. I also think he is the one being chased at 1:07.

So maybe you play some missions where you have to help Tommy V handle some business.

Things I want to see changed from GTA:

1. Jets (looks like we have).
2. San Andreas style landscapes (looks like we have)
3. Fix the horrendous driving and vehicle camera angles (doesn't look promising).
4. Make cop chases fun again (GTA3,Vice City, San Andreas).
5. Ditch the phone for cheats, old school sequence memorisation was fun (at least for me). Have cheats like old GTA games, flying car, jetpack, etc.
6. Bring gangs/gang wars back
7. Make the multiplayer FUN. GTA4 became a 3rd person shooter instead with cars.

I don't know about anyone else but the only game that up until now really had me this impressed was skyrim.

the character models still look very gta4, but you can see a lot more detail on the clothing.

Eveything else looks a lot better in my opinion. It looks a lot clearer and sharper yet looking at the size of the city they have still managed to pack lots of little tiny detail into even the smallest of areas.

I love my open world games, but right now I can't think of any on console that look as good. You can see it in the trees, you can see it in the buildings, the lighting.. it just looks on another level.

Imagine a world this big, but with graphics as detailed as Uncharted/Gears/whatever top graphical game people always reference when saying their system is the best.

all i gotta say is that if they go back to the san andreas formula im sold.

it feels like vice city in some parts like the beach and the bikes , sometimes it feels like san andreas like when the guy ran from the police in 1:07 , the mountains and the planes too , the cars and graphics is like gta iv but improved alot , i love it >.< .. i think it's perfect for almost everyone...

Looks good so far.

I just hope that GTA 5 will be FUN again. ya know like GTA III , Vice City and San Andreas was FUN.

GTA 4 was far to linear and even boring at times.

Also hope they improve the online modes as well.

Game looks amazing,beautiful.Rockstar has the best engine and artists in this industry.It can easily go under real life footage at places,beautiful.

Budget for this game must be enormous.
