Assassin's Creed Multiplayer Bug

Kotaku writes: "Yes, we've heard of the amazing cloning bug in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, but had yet to see it actually play out in video form. I wasn't aware of how perfectly executed it was, giving Altair the opportunity to kill himself with some dual-assassin shenanigans. Is everyone sure this isn't some clever plot point that we're not supposed to know about yet? A second clip is after the jump".

this is the 360 version. Thought it was only the ps3 version that had bugs only found 1 bug in my assasins creed(ps3) and it happened only once. Damn Ubisoft really f'd up assasins

Chubear6413d ago (Edited 6413d ago )

Yeah I knw the 360 fanbase have been venomous about saying bugs are only on the PS3 version but this is far from the truth.

There does seem to be more bugs in the PS3 version but they're still a lot of glitches and bugs in the 360 version. Just unacceptable really but hey, they got their sales exploiting Jade's "popularity" so...

SIX6413d ago

should I get this game?

UJUSTLOSTONE6413d ago

Its not the greatest, a solid 8 IMO, but if you haven't played uncharted yet, get and play that first, or if you like RPG's get Mass Effect. I like Assasins, but it just feels too unfinished.

Great Concept, not enough follow through

SIX6412d ago

for the advice. Bubbles for you

What the! How can I get a disagree on a question?! Damn!

ActionBastard6413d ago

I wish Jade had done less posing for pics and interviews and more making sure this game was as good as it could've been.

Danja6413d ago (Edited 6413d ago )

Funny enough the only prob I experienced was that the game froze a few times....and a simple reboot did the job..!!

ravinash6413d ago

But if you've just done the assassination finally got past all the troops and then when you just about back at the office the games freezes. You do get a sudden feeling to throw the controller at the TV and say a lot of bad words.

They already did that in 2017 with origins. I don’t think a reboot is on the cards when Ubisoft is about to go down under lol

I hope the splinter cell remake sees the light of day before the company closes

Inverno104d ago

I doubt they'll be closing, but they are primed to be eaten up by a bigger comp. Also 2017 was nearly a decade ago, it could use another reboot or rather it should just be retired.

RaidenBlack104d ago

Origins was the reboot.
But that also alienated the original AC lovers, abit. Not everybody adores the perma-change of the IP to be vast RPGs.
What I instead propose is, alternate between Valhalla/Shadows type AC RPGs and Mirage/ACII like non-RPG releases.

PrecursorOrb104d ago

It’d be nice if they made parkour feel new

monkey602104d ago

Put the series to bed, It's tired! Revisit your stagnant properties.

Profchaos104d ago

What do you do when you've already milked everything dry

Noskypeno104d ago

What is old might feel new again. A new splinter cell with semi open levels but still having a linear structure (not just one giant open world) that have multiple paths to complete the objective but still have stealth be the main priority would feel fresh, especially with modern graphics and military gadgets .

FinalFantasyFanatic104d ago

I agree, from anecdotal evidence, all franchises eventually stagnate, it might be a good time to start something new.

PRIMORDUS104d ago

"it might be time for a reboot." No it might be time to put this shit to rest for a few yrs. A good 4-5 then come back.

Profchaos104d ago

Total franchise reboot. This ac game is basically the hail Mary to keep Ubisoft alive if this fails the share price will be so low they will be forced to sell and likely absorbed into another org as the Ubisoft name carries almost no weight.

Don't get me wrong they will end up selling after ac regardless but it will be the difference of getting the deal they want vs the deal they don't

Tell me how that's going to be significantly different than colonial America. AC is about showcasing different cultures throughout history. They already did Native Americans in AC3, so then just cowboys, outlaws, ranchers, etc? Kinda feel like there's already a game out there that does that really freaking well. Hmmm, maybe the one in the thumbnail?
