Over the weekend of October 1st and 2nd Melbourne was home of one of the Australian major fighting game tournaments aptly named Battle Arena Melbourne. This event didn't just have competitions though, there were unreleased games playable for the first time to the Australian public and naturally they wanted to get their hands on it.
Of the three unreleased games on show one of them had only a few players but those few players were extremely dedicated. Their priority on the two gaming setups wasn't winning but learning moves, exploring mechanics and getting a strong feel for the game.
That game was Soul Calibur V.
