Americas Preorders Chart, 15 October 2011 - Batman: Arkham City

"Overview - There is one game in the top 20 to be in its final week before launch, Batman: Arkham City for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The top five games include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360), Battlefield 3 (X360), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (X360), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3), and Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC). The top six games have 500,000 or more pre-orders, up from one last week, and the top 15 has 200,000 or more pre-orders, up from 14 last week. Seven games add 50,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week and 13 add 20,000 or more, up from 12 last week."

sigh...just when I thought shooters were dying down. It's all about Batman guys. Modern Warfare is so OUT of date.

Why do people preorder other than stupid occasional bonuses? Does it make people feel like they already own the game?
Why not wait to see if it disappoints or something just to be sure? It's not like they'll tun out of copies.
Xbox always has most preorders - says something about their community.

At least preorder deserving games like uc3, not mw3 which like the biggest disappointment of the year.
