Resident Evil: 15 Years Later

Back in the 90s, I took Resident Evil very seriously. I loved the claustrophobic environments, the puzzle and exploration aspects, and, of course, the zombies. With Halloween rapidly approaching, and the release of Operation Raccoon City just a few months away, it seemed like as good time as any to head back to Raccoon City and revisit the title that kicked off one of gaming's longest-running horror franchises. So I downloaded Resident Evil: Director's Cut from PlayStation Network and reintroduced myself to an old friend.

Agreed. 1-3 were the best IMO, 2 being my personal favorite.

Resident Evil Zero was the shit, same with the GC remake of the first game.

Anyone who says that any Resident Evil game before Resident Evil 4 is the best is a complete idiot.

Resident Evil 4 > Any other Resident Evil game

You are the idiot and I bet you haven't played the first 3 games. How old are you??

Real gamers know that RE2 is the best.

I agree 100% although Code veronica was pretty good, RE 1-3 were my favorite. I just recently played them again on my PSP and i still love them.

RE 2 is my favorite also. I liked that you could play it four times, 2 times with each character, and see more of the story each time.

I just played RE1, RE2, RE3, and RE 4 and I think the first 3 are better than 4 still even after all these years. And they are all much better than 5, meh.
