Liam Martin writes: Dead Rising 2: Off The Record retains the series' sense of fun and freedom, allowing players to create even more weapons, battle extra psychopaths and discover colourful new areas of Fortune City. Even better is the ability to do so without time and item restraints thanks to the new sandbox mode.
Unfortunately, it's a case of one game too far for owners of last year's release and all of its related DLC. Dead Rising 2: Off The Record is undeniably the best version of the game available, however, and the perfect place to begin for anyone yet to pay a visit to Fortune City.
Dead Rising 2: Off The Record felt like the zombie survival series' peak, with Frank West's non-canon adventure providing massive thrills.

I played the first, and I bought #4. Other than that, strangely haven't played any of the others. I'll get round to it one day though I guess.
