Eurogamer: Why the 3DS Won't Die

Success stories can take a while to catch on, to refine. Ever the innovator, Nintendo knows this. So although the 3DS has had a rocky start to its life, Nintendo won't be writing off the 3DS any time soon. And neither should we.

With Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land just round the corner I really can't see how this console would be sent to die.

It just got my first "must have" game called Crimsion Shroud, a JRPG developed by Level-5 and produced by the maker of FFT and Vagrant Story.

The early problems pushed Nintendo into cutting price and doing deals with developers to make a wide range of interesting games, we win in the end.

It has been the best selling console worldwide since the price drop on a weekly basis..and the holidays with the big guns aren't even here yet..so umm yeah -3DS aint going nowhere biatches!

Yeah, you'd have to be blind if you think it won't be a success.

It might not reach DS number but those are godly freaking numbers, over 120 million sold worldwide. If it doesn't reach it, it doesn't mean it's a failure.
