Success stories can take a while to catch on, to refine. Ever the innovator, Nintendo knows this. So although the 3DS has had a rocky start to its life, Nintendo won't be writing off the 3DS any time soon. And neither should we.
With Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land just round the corner I really can't see how this console would be sent to die.
It just got my first "must have" game called Crimsion Shroud, a JRPG developed by Level-5 and produced by the maker of FFT and Vagrant Story. The early problems pushed Nintendo into cutting price and doing deals with developers to make a wide range of interesting games, we win in the end.
3DS doesn't die, it multiplies. :)
It has been the best selling console worldwide since the price drop on a weekly basis..and the holidays with the big guns aren't even here yet..so umm yeah -3DS aint going nowhere biatches!
Yeah, you'd have to be blind if you think it won't be a success. It might not reach DS number but those are godly freaking numbers, over 120 million sold worldwide. If it doesn't reach it, it doesn't mean it's a failure.
Mario 3DS Mario Kart Kingdom Hearts 3D Beyond The Labyrinth Fantasy Life Fire Emblem Inazuma Eleven Go Luigis Mansion 2!! Monster Hunter Tri Monster Hunter 4 Paper Mario Professor Layton Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright Resident Evil Revalations Some people are just butthurt the 3DS has a amazing AAA lineup on the way And the best part... all EXCLUSIVES!! :P
Pokemon: It is a necessity to acquire all of them.
This guy dosen't seem to understand much about the 3ds at all. The launch line up was not an arrogant belief that 3d alone would sell the system; it was a false belief that third parties would actually deliver if Nintendo gave them some space. And while it may just be me, I don't think the slide pad is as sure a sign as many believe of a redesign. I think they will watch it closely, and redesign the system if it gains third party support and consumer acceptance, but not before NEXT holiday season. The only thing I really agree with in this article is the fact that the 3ds shouldn't be counted out.
3ds is only getting better, despite of not so good launch with lots of ports... I hope that it'll do well
