Examples of DLCs that are NOT cynical cash-grabs are few and far between. These rare gems can significantly expand upon and improve the base game. GameLuster's Nirav Gandhi highlights the top ten DLCs of all time. Publishers take note - these are DLCs done right.
My favorite DLC list would be:
10) Dragon Age Origins: Awakening
9) Assassin's Creed IV: Freedom Cry
8) Destiny: The Taken King
7) Fallout 4: Far Harbor
6) Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road
5) The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard
4) The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles
3) The Last of Us: Left Behind
2) Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
1) The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine
Honorable) Mass Effect 3: Citadel, The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, FarCry 3: Blood Dragon, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
Also) Fallout 76: Wastelanders (Actually brings some sense to the game) (Should be a standalone offline title)
Where’s Big surf island from Burnout Paradise? And all the extras.
GTA4’s dlc was one of the best ever
Undead nightmare was brilliant My 3 favourites off top of my head great value and great content
Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 DLC was great, Horizon: Zero Dawn's Frozen Wilds DLC was good.
The Elder Scrolls games are colossal, that’s a fact. The last three titles each boast hundreds of unique locations to visit and hundreds more side quests to get stuck into. Yes, these really are more than just games, for many, they are a way of life. Yet for all of the individuals that you meet throughout each game, there are certain individuals that really stand out from the crowd. Join us as we take a look back at our Top 5 NPCs.
. M’aiq the Liar to me is the greatest ever, just finding him and listen to his wisdom is so funny. He is and will always be an excellent extra to the elder scroll series for always
I would have added Gloorolros from The Shivering Isles.
"Hey, wanna buy a stick?, I've got a fresh one right here".
That always made me laugh.
. M’aiq the Liar, is a character that they should never leave out. The guy or lady that does him, is excellent and i love finding him and saving my game
So when i load it up he is standing there and saying random things. Sounds sad i know, but he is amazing
To be honest I really can't think of any likeable NPC's in Skyrim.Seriously,I played it on PS3 and 360 for about 150 hours each and no one comes to mind at all.Oblivion had a shit load of great NPC's,though.
It took them a total of 17 days into the actual month, but the Xbox Live reduced content for August 2012 has finally been updated on the Xbox Live dashboard.
Was just about to sell my oblivion, but now I think i'll keep it :D
Sold my 360 just before it arrived on the xbox, the only thing there made me a bit sad about selling the xbox.. Oh well, now im 100% satisfied ;)
this, and uncharted, ratched and clank, CoD4, Ut3... oh yeah, 2007 will end good!
I wonder what the status is on seeing this or other DLC on the PSN?
bethesda said all of the DLC of the PC/360 version will be available by the end of the year...I am assuming that includes the horse armor, etc packs that have yet to appear...
the GOTY edition ships with all of that on disc too...
can't wait for this...haven't played Oblivion in a very long time...still have plenty of side quests to do...but they were getting...boring...I would like another main quest for sure...but I heard this expansion is somewhat annoying...
Yeah, I've got the GOTY for the PS3. I'm actually mainly interested in how they would package the DLC - I would love to reverse-engineer them to get some of my PC mods on there. I know, I know ... not gonna happen, but here's to hoping!
:o)
