Matt Helgeson writes: It's a big week for new releases, including Rage, the much-anticipated shooter from Doom and Quake creators id Software. However, there's two other games that shine as well, From Software's unique (and challenging) action/RPG Dark Souls and NBA 2K12, which might be the greatest sports game ever made.
