New Sony PS3 Controller Hits FCC

The latest PS3 firmware update added support for the rumble controller to the system, and recent updates to some games, such as Motorstorm, have added rumble support to individual game titles. Today documents surfaced showing the new DualShock 3 controller received approval from the U.S. Federal Communications Comission, a requirement for all wireless technology in North America.

Could the new Dualshock 3 hit stores earlier than expected?

But I'm praying that the Dual Shock 3 ends up in American stores before the end of the year. I would end up buying two of them and tossing my Sixaxis in the drawer.

no just put them back in the package that the duelshock came from and take it back to walmart or kmart. Them people are to stupid to notice the differance.

I don't care about the rumble...I just want two more controllers, and would prefer to have 2 w/ rumble and my current 2 sixaxis...as apposed to just 4 sixaxis'...

I also wish they would bring back colored controllers...just so it is easier to know which controller you were using or whatever...4 guys playing warhawk...we get up and leave to get a beer or something...then come back...which one was I using?
