Epic Games Announces Unreal Engine 3 Support for Adobe Flash Player

Epic Games has officially announced today that Unreal Engine 3 will be having support for the Adobe Flash Player.

This almost comes off as proof to me on how old that engine is. If Flash can use it, how come something 50x as amazing isn't being used? Why isn't there an Unreal Engine 9 by now?

Lol. You should learn a little more about technology before making those sort of statements. The latest version of Flash is going to allow for Direct GPU access, therefore it can use the full power of your PC.

Josh tells us about the early days, about being a small but diverse team spread our geographically, and about the project going on strong through multiple iterations. We also discuss which older games served as inspiration, and might just have given away our respective ages as we discuss games from 3 decades ago.
The game is available on Steam, under the Early Access category, and by golly, it is an awesome “little” shooter.
