It's been a banner several weeks for new games and this one is no different. No matter what your taste there is a little something for everyone.

Here are some of the top games:

Mass Effect (X360)

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)

Soul Calibur Legends (WII)

Rock Band (PS3, X360)

The story is too old to be commented.

No kidding! I've been spending a ton on games lately. In the last 30 days I've purchased Guitar Hero 3, Ratchet & Clank, Super Mario Galaxy and Assassin's Creed. And there's still Mass Effect, Soul Calibur Legends and Uncharted on my list. I'm going to give Rock Band a big pass because I just don't have the room for the drums.

I did:

Guitar Hero 3
Ratchet & Clank
Assasins Creed

I don't even want to know what that entire total is... Plus I'm going 1/2 on mass effect with a co-worker for our 360 @ work..

Im waiting on Orange Box for the ps3, UT3, and Haze. Might skip haze though.. really depends on how long the single player mode is..

I'm kinda slow-fps'd out. Bring on Unreal ladies..

O rly? I live in Brazil, we pay like 100+ USD for a new PS3 or 360 game and that making some economy, buying in packs...

I myself don't have buyed any game early this year besides FEAR (in July), after that I get for the holiday season and go for those packs... September was Heavenly Sword + Warhawk + Ace Combat X. November is Ratchat And Clank Future + Assassin's Creed + Call Of Duty 4 + Dracula X Chronicles. December I'll buy more like 3~4 games for PS3 (Uncharted, maybe Rock Band, maybe Folklore, I'm trying to skip more FPS), 2~3 for PSP (Probably Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow or Jeanne D'arc)... And that with an South America salary (yes, I save the money the months that I haven't bought games), so I think I can say that you guys complaim a bit much...

It's good to have many options but THAT MANY will make too much good games become just a rental for me...

Have you tried ordering from Amazon? many of my friends of South America order from it since you pay the US price of the game and the only high price you have to pay is the shipping based primarily on the weight for example last time 8 games (regular DVD cases) came up for 55 bucks for ensured shipping with tracking numbered delivered in 7 days

The problem is the taxes here. We have, here in São Paulo, about 135% in taxes when you put everything together... A game that cost 60 USD (about 105 Reais today) come to 181 USD (about 316 Reais today).

Buy the way I bough (which is ilegal) I pay 180 Reais (about 102 USD). This games comes from US, from US stores, but a guy buy it and bring it to Brazil (anyone can legally bring 500 USD on products to Brazil without taxes) then this guy handle the games to a import shop where I buy this... This isn't complete ilegal, but is indeed a way to skip taxes.

Almost all stores sells games for less than 300 Reais but still, government don't give a sh!t... In fact, there is a law project to remove taxes from software of any nature (and musics, and videos), just like there is no taxes for books (it's all information/culture at all). There is also another project here, this one alredy in a line to be voted, about removing taxes from games itself, software and hardware.

There is a good PC games market here, government is stating to see it. Looks like it's more interesting to take taxes on stores, that create jobs, and fight piracy, than directly take cash from consumers.

Edit: This isn't ilegal IF the store sell the game like used, but the recipe many times don't descripe this, so you get it...
