"Ever since the emergance of the Xbox 360 in 2005 to be then concluded with the 3DS in 2011, this generation of gaming has provided some memorable experiences for the majority of gamers across the globe. Software sales have risen, we have the first trend of each respective non portable console reaching over 50 million in sales, visuals improve year on year and online interaction is now a normality rather than a rarity. With that being said, this generation has not been without its frustrations which to some gamers, have maybe left them feeling a tad sour rather than joyous fulfillment."

The sinking of the new IP? I hardly think so. Just because there are a large number of sequels coming out in the last couple of years does not mean that there have been a lot less new IPs. There have been some very good new IPs this gen and there have been a lot more not very good IPs, the not very good or average new IPs are getting ignored because of the reliance on metacritic scores this gen.
Would love to see mirror's edge 2 as I fell in love with the original
Sports/Wrestling games sucked this gen is a letdown for me.
I actually like the fact that FFXIII-2 only has insignificant things listed as DLC. I'd rather have the full game off the bat than wait a few weeks for a new "chapter" to be released that I have to pay for in order to "really" beat the game.
what about motion controls? not all games work as they say
