Not to hate on Nintendo but they are doing the same mistake some of the psp games had no online only local, how the hell am I suppose to get 3 more people to play co-op.

I know. The 3ds can easily do online so what the problem. Nintendo is seriously being lazy. First starfox and now this.

The only way to show them that we don't like this is not to buy the game. Im pretty sure any fan of zelda already owns the game. So don't rebuy it again. We need to show nintendo that we want multiplayer in more of their titles. Im glad they included online in mario kart 7. So i think they are understanding that online is important.

Well the game is free so I can let the not online part go, I hope they dont do this with MH3G I really want online on that one.

Well its free. So I won't rebuy it, I'll just download it...
And Eco, it's been enhanced with a singleplayer mode so you don't have to.

Did Nintendo learn nothing from the PSP's shortcomings that Sony has clearly taken into account.

1. It's free.
2. New single player mode.

Still it's a troubling sign if StarFox had offline multiplayer and now this. Offline multiplayer didn't work out too well for the PSP.

Nintendo keeps talking about bringing the core gamers back for the WiiU and they talk about improving their online experience but have yet to show us anything. All they are showing us is that they are still far behind when it comes to online play.

They could have took this opportunity to increase sales. It could have convince some to jump aboard instead of waiting for a revision which in turns by word of mouth, convince others. It may not be a dramatic difference but implementing online play isn't exactly hard to add in either.

Nintendo is all talk. "Focus on the core"... they're not turning any heads. I don't mean online though :P They need fresh single player experiences.

They should do a new one with the assets from A Link Between Worlds. Enough with the re-releases, remakes, and remasters. Least they could do is get their shit together and provide a new version of the Virtual Console or add all that stuff to the Online sub.

Old McGroin604d ago

Top 20 Best DSiWare Games (10-1)

Alex S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Last week we took a look at ten games that, while great in their own right kind of represented what most people think of when they think of DSiWare; small games that offer fun, but limited experiences. And while that's definitely a defining feature of DSiWare games the service was also home to some surprisingly deep experiences that you can take on the go. And that's really what defines the best games for the service, games that went above and beyond what people expected from it."
