"The best advice I can give to somebody who is intrigued by this game is to think about whether realism is what they really want, and if so, to go ahead and buy it. It’s an experience unmatched in the genre, and whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is entirely up to you."
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Today I would like to show off the Baikal shotgun, which you saw in render form during my last communication in action.
Gaming Respawn takes a look at the Top 10 simulator games to play on PC this year.
Not one flight simulator listed like DCS World one of the most hardcore flight sims ever or a racing simulator like iRacing? Really poor list
I clicked, curious where in the list DCS World would appear.
A top simulators list that doesn't include DCS World is a poor list.
A top simulators list that includes no flight simulators whatsoever is an extremely poor list.
A top simulators list that includes no flight sims or racing sims is a joke.
The fact that Bus Simulator made the list at all makes the list absurd, even Farming Simulator is better than that.
It lists ETS2 but not the new American Truck Simulator?
I agree, a very poorly thought out list.
Really great review, pretty fair and balanced too.
It's interesting how the balance between difficulty and enjoyment can be so hard to get just right. Some games like Demon's Souls seem to be able to still remain fun for the bulk of the people who play it while a game like this gets much more mixed reviews.
Must admit the sp is mental in a bad way, its the dying with no obvious reason plus the bots getting stuck at ladders and stairs is funny at times, but maybe the next few patches will sort this. Now for realism where is the swastikas was it not apart of history not a big point still strange. The mp to me seems good once you get into it and shake of the COD syndrome lol, playing the other night on a server with 6-8 players, apartments was the map I think talk about tense "cat and mouse" good fun this game can only get better with a few more patches. worth the purchase if fed up with arcade shooters.
Seems to me that the guy who reviewed this is just really bad at the game.
Here's what I got from the review:
"WAHHH I SUCK AT THIS GAME SO I THINK IT'S A BAD GAME"
He should go back to his cowadooty. RO2 is a 9/10 for me, the only real flaw being how poorly it is optimized. The developer is in denial if they honestly think the game looks particularly great. Other than that, fantastic game.
