Tripwire Announces Massive $12,000 Red Orchestra 2 Clan Tournament

Dealspwn reports: Forgotten Honor together with Tripwire Interactive and The Wild Bunch are happy to announce the opening of the sign-ups for a massive knockout tournament for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. Tripwire Interactive will be putting up $8,000 for the winning team and $4,000 for the second place team - ending with a Europe vs USA multiplayer masterclass!

Is it even worth it?

32 player team, that's near $375 a player payout depending on fees and taxes taking from that.

Fix the -10m hit detection issues, engine optimization and clipping bugs first.

Heh, hopefully most of the bugs should be squashed by the time the tournament goes live. Tripwire are legends when it comes to patching up their games (Killing Foor and RO being great examples).
