AusGamers pulled a great deal of Darksiders 2 information from Vigil Games at this year's TGS, including details on the potential return of Wicked K, a social aspect to the game that may have been inspired by Diablo's item trading, how the game's over-world and dungeons will work and vague details on Darksiders 1 save data being carried over to the sequel.

Darksiders 1 is a complete game but it’s obvious with Darksiders 2 they ran out of budget after the Ice world and the game just becomes a poorly paced mess.
The release date has been revealed for The Art of Darksiders II Hardcover Edition.
Really? They're already thinking about DLC? Wtf man...I hate this gen so much...
back in the days, devs would make the effort to include as much as possible in the single release. Now its regarded as a simple business strategy used for more revenue.
See I don't have a problem with it, provided the main game that ships is a complete experience. Fallout 3 and New Vegas were both massive stand-alone games in their own right, the post-release DLC just gave them extra legs for a longer period of time, and for the better in my opinion.
