Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 Not coming to PSN this week

Well, everyone who got super excited over Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 will be very hurt to know that PSBlog reported wrong yesterday.

Well damn, seriously? I was all pumped to finally try Chrono Trigger. How do they make a mistake like this? WTF

I'm not trolling. I love Chrono Trigger I even OWN the Final Fantasy Chronicles.

The PS version of Chrono Trigger is legitimately crap. The load times between areas measure in the tens of seconds. There's even a multiple second pause before EVERY BATTLE.

There's plenty of versions out there. SNES is the best. Virtual Console is also great. DS works fine.. if you don't mind a loss in resolution.

If you want to enjoy this game, get any version but the PS version. If you want to frustrate yourself with constant pauses and lagging, have at it.

Ive played the original version of chrono trigger on the the super nintendo. Then I bought the PS version. It just as good. The playstation version has cinema that the super nintendo version didn't have.

One of the best jrpg I've played next to Dragon Quest Journey of the Curse King, FF7 and FF10

For those who never played Chrono Trigger its a good pickup. My nephew is now playing it, he just turned 16

Emulator...these games are nearly 15 years old, should be fu**ing freeware by now. Command and conquer is newer than these and free, and Elder scrolls Daggerfall. Google/snes9x/Download.......G oogle/Chrono Trigger coolrom/download. Play game, you don't even need a gamepad for these games due to top down controls(although you can use if you wish)

Sony has the potential to beat all the other systems with its hardcore game and exclusive game releases, yet it always fines a way to fuck something up. Hopefully Vita will finally be that precious jewel we've all been waiting for, as well as the product that defines this generation's handheld experience, and Sony's success.
