Oh sure Relic Entertainment and THQ's earlier forays into the 40K universe were excellent. Dawn of War: Dark Crusade remains one of my favourite games, but... It's all very well and good to command your troops, but what about us bloodthirsty types who want a game which puts us in the very thick of it? Well rest assured, Space Marine does that in brilliant fashion. With a visceral blend of firepower and close combat, Relic has crafted a very entertaining action packed game. Whilst it might be the game that the Warhammer nerds were waiting for, it's also a great game period.
