Get the worm and hop to victory in Booyah's unique 2D platformer
Ryan Johnson | GoozerNation
Ryan at GoozerNation's son recently got a giftcard for App Store purchases. The options he was first interested in were not only more money than what he had, they were more than what a traditional retail game cost, and they were disposable, disappearing within a month! Ryan discusses his frustration with poorly done freemium titles and the quality behind the ones done right.
The Electronic Farmyard writes:
'The Angry Bird-style game has another contender, this time in the form of free-to-download game Early Bird. The game is named after the age old saying ‘The early bird catches the worm’ and that is exactly what you have to do. You are helpfully guided through the first few levels but the controls are fairly straight forward; it should take no more than five minutes to have a complete handle on the game.'
MacWorld: The latest member of the flock to flap its way to the top of the App Store downloads chart is Early Bird, available in either iPhone or iPad formats from Booyah. Early Bird doesn’t exactly break new ground in gaming, but it offers a fun way to pass the time and some adorable graphics of baby birds and their sneering worm enemy.
