Blah, blah, blah. That's not video games. Video games are all about indulging yourself. Video games are about slaying and murdering thousands, and then boasting about those digits, having them displayed on global leaderboards. Who cares about the emperor when you're a 700-pound Space Marine wielding a chainsaw sword?

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.
The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."
Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.
It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.
Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol
Relic Entertainment announced layoffs affecting 121 employees. The company recently released Company of Heroes 3. It is a subsidiary of Sega.

Damn ... Company of Heroes 1 is one of my favorite, if not my fav, RTS of all time ...
CoH3 has been received negatively and barely sold 500K on Steam. I reckon it wasn't enough for Sega to keep the lights on in the studio.
Guessing the PS5 version that's out on the 30th will also be a disaster. Shame...
ok, i thought it was just me that was having troubles getting online in this game. i really hope they fix it in time for the co-op dlc...
